Maja Jelic (M.Sc.) holds a master's degree in chemistry from the University of Zagreb and has extensive experience in the field of functional nanomaterials, particularly in the synthesis and analysis of ferromagnetic nanoparticles. Since 2014, she has been working with Prof. Dr. Gesa Beck on the development of conductive and transparent coatings based on PMMA.

At ABCircular, she heads the Research & Development department and is responsible for planning and implementing R&D projects, as well as for laboratory organisation and providing technical guidance to the team. Previously, she was a trainer in the Tesla project and coordinated laboratory training at the site and in the laboratories of the Free University of Berlin. She is expected to complete her doctorate in 2026.
